I was very happy when my agent called me to confirm that I was booked on a Skechers shoot taking place in Seattle, a city that has been on my list of ‘places to visit’ for quite some time now.  I always love to explore places I have never been to and I am so grateful that my career provides me with new adventures and the opportunity to meet and work with amazing people.

I arrived in Seattle on a Sunday late in the evening before the shoot day, checked into the hotel and decided to walk around and pick up some food. I had no idea majority of shops and restaurants close pretty early on Sundays in Downtown Seattle but I managed to score a delicious Vegan Burger and later roam around the Farmers Market as it was closing.

The following morning I woke up at 5 am in order to explore a bit of downtown Seattle prior to my shoot with Skechers and it was so worth it! The tourists were still fast asleep so I walked towards the Farmers Market to visit the first ever Starbucks, which I heard can get pretty packed with tourists as it is THE coffee landmark in Seattle! Lucky for me coffee addicts aren’t all early birds and I was the first one at the first ever Starbucks that Monday morning. I picked up a delicious coffee made from coffee beans only sold at that particular Starbucks and made my way down by the water to enjoy more of what Downtown Seattle has to offer.

I always say in the industry I am in, one should never stay in their hotel room, one should explore the amazing places this career takes you.
